Biography
Lauranium.one, aka Laura Staudenmaier, is a Perth-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice combines large-scale murals, traditional studio art, 3D/VFX and visual storytelling.
Her creative journey began in Hollywood VFX, working as a 3D artist on productions including Loki and Fantastic Beasts II. Along the way, she expanded her practice into commercial photography, action sports and visual strategy, developing a fascination with movement that continues to strongly influence her mural work.
Her paintings are characterised by vibrant colours, playful compositions and a desire to bring beauty into everyday spaces. Drawing inspiration from the places and people around them, her murals incorporate local landmarks, history and personality to create artwork that feels connected to its surroundings. Whether transforming a public wall or creating a piece for a private space, she aims to make art that sparks joy and connection.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to explore beyond a single medium, Laura moves between physical and imagined worlds, combining traditional techniques with digital possibilities.
As part of the 115E.studio collective and working from MONSTER Studios in Perth, she collaborates with artists and creatives across disciplines, continually exploring new ways to create captivating art.
